Ken Huber – the former resident of Forest Grove and current B-C amateur champion of both cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions – will enter the ring tomorrow night for his last amateur fight.
Vancouver’s Samuel King Moses, the number one ranked amateur in both weight classes will be Huber’s opponent in a four round fight at the Comb-sport BC Silver Gloves tournament.
Huber explains what the fight means to him
“This is kind of a farewell for me to take off into pro boxing. We’re looking at my pro debut in January in Langley under Comb-Sport’s new Pro-Am rules. So this will be my last competition with Comb-Sport as an amateur”
The event starts at seven-thirty tomorrow at 7:30pm in Richmond, with Huber’s headlining fight expected to be around 9.
