Quesnel School District Plans Take Next Step

   What will the the Quesnel School District look like moving forward ?
   The answer to that question will likely be a little closer after a meeting scheduled for later this week.
   Quesnel School Board Chair Tony Goulet says they will be holding another World Cafe meeting this Thursday night at Correlieu Secondary School.
   Goulet says the Cornerstone Planning Group has taken all of the information from the first meeting and come up with some possible options for the same group of people to now go over.
   He says while this meeting is by invite only the general public will get a chance to have some input.
   Goulet says the school district we will be putting somehting out on the website the following day and the community can provide input on the options by e-mail up to the 23rd.
   A final report on what is being called a Schools Development Strategy is due in December and Goulet says the Board will then make some recomendations early in the new year.
   He cautions that no decisions have been made on school closures at this time and that there is a separate process that then takes place even if they do decide to go that route.
