An investigation continues into a single motor vehicle incident this morning in 70 Mile House that has left one man with significant but non-life threatening injuries and reduced the flow of traffic on Highway 97.
Police have a few ideas as to the cause of the crash says Clinton RCMP Cpl. Brandon Buliziuk.
“Single vehicle off road right collision with a recovery…relatively serious injury but not life-threatening,” he said.
“It’s being investigated right now. Fatigue is believed to be a contributing factor. It’s also being investigated as an impaired driving incident.”
Highway 97 has now been opened to both lanes of traffic as recovery of the significantly damaged semi-truck continues.
