The rodeo grounds near Sheridan Lake will play host as the Interlakes Rodeo kicks off its 25th year today.
The event seems to give a boost to the local economy says Chairman of the rodeo committee Carney Myers
“We get lots of support from the businesses, so I would think that it (the rodeo) definitely makes a positive impact. We have 300 cowboys with horse trailers and stock contractors coming through here for two days.”
The Interlakes Lions will lead off with their pancake breakfast slated for 8am, with rodeo events including a mutton bust and a calf scramble to follow.
