Updated: An accident near 108 Mile ranch Saturday night closed Highway 97 for a short time and left a large area without power.
108 Mile Ranch Fire Department responded to the rollover about 6:45 pm.
The highway was closed due to damaged power lines on the road, and power was out north of 108 for several hours.
“We are fortunate in the South Cariboo to have agencies that work so well together,” the Department said. “Thanks to B.C. Ambulance, 100 Mile Fire Rescue 100 Mile RCMP and B.C. Hydro”
At least one person was entrapped.
There is no word on injuries.
