The Village of Cache Creek has partially rescinded its evacuation orders that came about from this week s flash flooding that decimated the area.
The cleanup continues with volunteers using buckets to remove water and mud from affected homes and funds being raised in the rebuilding effort.
Village Councillor Wyatt McMurray is thankful for the support received from 100Â Mile House and the surrounding area.
On the fundraising front, United Way is matching the first ten thousand dollars donated in hopes of driving funds towards replacing what was lost in the floods.
