South Cariboo Resident Wins Civilian of the Year

Saturday’s 2015 Crimestoppers Conference in Prince George had quite a surprise for a resident of the South Cariboo.

Marg Sarich, president of the South Cariboo Crimestoppers, was awarded the Civilian of the Year for a population base of 20,000.

Sarich was caught off guard but credits her fellow volunteers for the award win

She recounts what exactly was going through her head at the time of the win:

There’s no rest for the Crimestoppers crew as they will be at the Cariboo Mall tomorrow with their raffle car between 10 and 4 in hopes of drumming up some raffle sales.
