RCMP have ruled a suspicious death in Clinton as a homicide.
Autopsy results confirm that Clinton resident James Painter, age 61, did not die of natural causes in his mobile home on Wednesday.
Clinton RCMP, along with the Southeast District Major Crime Unit, continues to investigate and say they do not believe this was a random incident.
Anyone with information about Painter’s movements on September 10 up until midnight is asked to contact RCMP or Crimestoppers.
