Fire crews prevented a building fire near Forest Grove from spreading last night.
The fire happened near Archie Meadow road near Forest grove. The Forest Grove and Canim Lake Band Volunteer Fire Departments attended the fire.
Band administrator Alana Dixon says the crews were able tp prevent the fire from going into the surrounding forest.
No injuries were sustained, but the outbuilding was destroyed and a nearby home was damaged.
