Saturday stabbing in Quesnel

RCMP in Quesnel responded to a stabbing on Saturday.
Shortly before noon police attended and located 21-year-old male suffering from a stab wound in the 200 block of Front Street near the footbridge.
Constable Krista Vrolyk with Quesnel RCMP says a 40-year-old male is in custody.
“RCMP arrested a 40-year-old Quesnel man in current connection to this crime. He’s currently facing one count of assault with a weapon and is set to make his first formal appearance in court later today.”
The 21-year male victim was treated at Quesnel hospital and later released.
