The District of 100 Mile House revealed its financial plan for 2018 to 2022 at a public presentation last Tuesday.
The plan calls for a 1 percent increase in taxes in order to offset costs in maintaining service levels. Major projects are scheduled for completion, including the water system upgrades, shelters in Centennial Park and the Alpine Loop upgrades.
Other highlights of the financial plan include reducing dependency on major industries in the area and several community improvements, such as paving and sidewalk projects, Martin Exeter Hall renovations, and the waterpark.
The full plan can be viewed at the district website, https://www.100milehouse.com/reports/ .
