The regional districts’ Recycling program in the South Cariboo has been making strides.
Residents have been adhering to the new regulations regarding recycling. Area G director Al Richmond says Many South Cariboo residents are taking advantage of the curbside recycling programs, but some people are still having some trouble with what can go into the blue bins.
“Its just a matter of us explaining it a bit better. We’ve had meetings to get people aware. We’ll be having more updates and more awareness of what you can and can’t put in that blue bin.”
