Cariboo Resident Up for BC Master Athlete of the Year

Cariboo archer Al Campsall will be in Vancouver tonight at the 49th annual BC Athlete of the Year Awards.

Campsall is nominated for Master Athlete alongside golfer Doug Roxburgh and map and compass man Brian Ellis (orienteering) – both of Vancouver.

The Williams Lake resident and brother of 100 Mile Mayor, Mitch Campsall, has a laundry list of 2014 sporting accomplishments to his name including:

-BC Outdoor Target Archery Field Record Score

-Canadian Field Archery Record Score

-Canadian 50-metre 720 Round Record Score

-Most Canadian 3D Archery Championships (12)

-Most BC 3D Archery Championships (10)

-Winner, BC outdoor target archery championship

-Winner, Canadian 3D Archery Championship Grand Prix

-Winner Canadian Field Archery Championships

-Winner Canadian Outdoor Target Archery Championships

-Winner Canadian Indoor 3D Archery Championships

-Winner BC 3D Archery Championships

-Winner Alberta Indoor 3D Archery Championships
