The current Liberal Government has a spending problem according to Kamloops – Thompson – Cariboo Member of Parliament Cathy McLeod.
In a statement, McLeod says over the next 7 years the Government will take on around $100 billion in new debt while stating that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will continue to raise taxes on hydro, gasoline and home heating, health and dental benefits among other things.
McLeod says that 80% of middle-class Canadians are paying more in taxes and the current Government is still unable to balance the books.
