New Rental Homes on the Way for 100 Mile?

Some new rental properties could be on the way for 100 Mile House.

An application was brought forward last night at the District of 100 Mile House Council to bring a new 4 unit townhouse located on Blackstock Road.

If built, the property designation would change from ‘Low Density Residential’ to ‘Medium Density Residential’ and the zoning would change from ‘R-2 Residential Duplex Zone’ to ‘R-4 Residential Medium Density Zone.’

An engineer consultant and fire chief looked over the plan and have no concerns at this time.

The Agricultural Land Commission also confirmed the property is not located on any land reserve.
