Jamie Law is the President of the Big Lake Community Club.

“Bill was a local cowboy who was involved with our stampede for a long, long time; he was a contestant, a contractor. He’s got sons and grandsons that still help us out and are still part of the rodeo.”

Law says live entertainment with 100 Mile House musician Mark Allen will follow the rodeo this year.

Main events for the Bridge Lake Stampede start at noon at the stampede grounds just off Highway 24 with slacks beginning at 9.

Tickets which come with free camping cost $5 for children over 5, $10 for seniors, and $15 for adults.
