The new West Fraser Centre in Quesnel will host 6 junior B hockey games next season.
The Kamloops Storm will be up on three separate weekends to showcase the game and to show why Quesnel deserves a franchise of it’s own.
Barry Dewar, the owner of the Storm, spoke on behalf of a Quesnel franchise at a news conference late Friday afternoon at the Tower Inn…
“To do that we really need your help. So we’re hoping that when we play here, the two games in November, the two in December and the two in February, that we fill that place up.”
Matt Kolle and Tracey Mero plan to make another bid for a franchise prior to next season.
The Storm will take on the 100 Mile House Wranglers on Friday, November 17th.
Osoyoos will provide the opposition the weekend of December 8th and then the Wranglers and Kelowna Chiefs will be in town on February 9th and 10th.
