Fire Destroys Logging Truck In Quesnel

A logging truck driver in Quesnel is none the worse for wear but the same can’t be said for his truck.

Fire Chief Sylvain Gauthier explains…

“Just before suppertime the Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on top of Plywood Hill. Upon arrival by the duty officer on scene, the cab of a logging truck was fully involved.”

Gauthier says they were able to quickly put the fire out but the truck is a total write off.

He says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
