Winter may not officially start until December 21st but don’t tell Mother Nature that.
The Cariboo Chilcotin finds itself in a deep freeze after a rather mild November.
We asked Ross Mcdonald, Meteorolgist for Environment Canada just how long can we expect this to last.
“Old man Winter is rearing his ugly head here with cold, cold temperatures coming for the Cariboo and lasting for a better part of this week and right through to the weekend”.
Mcdonald attributes the bitterly cold temperatures to an Arctic outbreak coming all the way from the Yukon and Alaska which do come from time to time during the winter so we’re kinda on par for that.
Something going on in the Cariboo you think people should know about?
