RCMP in 100 Mile House were recently called to a collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 97 near Wright Station Road.
It happened on November.27th and according to police a female pedestrian had crossed the highway in front of semi-truck.
The truck hit the woman as a result of her actions and she was taken to 100 Mile House Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It has been determined that alcohol was likely a factor in the pedestrian’s actions.
