Attempted robbery nets nothing

No one was hurt when three people attempted to hold up another person Wednesday night in downtown Williams Lake.

RCMP say a 48 year old man was walking in front of the library when he was approached by the trio, two males and a female.

Both the men were carrying chunks of 2-x-4 and one became agressive and demanded everything the victim had.

When the victim said he didn’t have anything , the male became aggressive, but the female intervened and the two male suspects ran down the alley by the credit union.

Police are looking for three suspects, two men and a woman, all described as aboriginal in appearance.

The men are said to be more than 5′ 6″, one wearing a white jersey, the other a black sweater.
