williams lake dogs to have their day tomorrow in boitanio park

Boitanio Park in Williams Lake will be going to the dogs.

Tomorrow it’s the Annual SPCA Paws for a Cause Fundraiser where all proceeds from the day go to the shelter.

We asked the Manager of the Williams Lake and District SPCA  Elizabeth Dighton if this event is limited to dogs and their owners only.

“We are doing our Paws for a Cause yearly walkathon so every year we get together, and it’s not just dogs, we invite cats, rodents, you name it, we even had horses before, any animal that can walk along with a person is welcome to come. And we raise funds which helps us keep going year round”.

Registration takes place tomorrow morning starting at nine in Boitanio Park  and the event runs until noon.
