On time and on budget.
That’s what Director of Community Services for the City of Quesnel Jeff Norburn says about the construction of the West Fraser Centre.
Norburn says the facility is taking shape and has this update.
“They’ve been working on what we call the suspended slab or the second floor concourse that’s about sixty percent complete. They’re looking at pouring a third section of that later this month. And most of the significant structural concrete will be completed by the end of August early September”.
Norburn also said that steel has started to arrive on the site to begin construction of the roof.
Steel erectors are expected to arrive in early-mid September.
