Kidcare Daycare to Open This Summer

A new daycare in Williams Lake will soon be open for business.

Beaulah Munson is the Manager of Children Services with the Women’s Contact Society.

“We’re in the home stretch now which is really exciting so everything is starting to wrap up. We’ll be taking clients into active care beginning August 2nd.”

The Kidcare Daycare which is located between the Lake City Secondary’s Columneetza campus school bus loop and Nesika Elementary will provide 78 new child care spaces to the community, operating seven days a week from 5 am until midnight.

“All of our daytime classes are filled at this point in time with wait lists. We still have some spaces in our before school in the odd hour one because this is a very unique offering of childcare,” adds Munson who says they’ve already received lots of inquiries from parents.
