Crews from the Cariboo Fire Centre continue to make progress on a large wildfire near Nazko.
Fire Information Officer Emily Epp says as of this (April 11) morning it was about 40 percent containment.
She says it is about 398 hectares in size according to updated mapping over the weekend
Epp says they are not expecting any further growth today and if the weather continues like it is she says it should be fully contained by tomorrow.
She says today they have 65 firefighters, three dozers, a water truck and a helicopter on scene.
Epp says there were 13 fires over the weekend but the majority of them are either out or in mop up or patrol stage.
She says the fire near Nazko is the only fire of note in the region right now.
The cause remains under investigation.
