A Quesnel cowboy is off to a fantastic start to the Canadian Pro Rodeo season.
Matt O’Flynn, in his rookie season, was 2nd in the Bull Riding at the indoor event in Medicine Hat over the weekend.
Matt scored a 78 on “Party Shades” for more than 14-hundred 41 dollars.
He also received ground money of more than 14-hundred 11 dollars as there were only two qualified rides.
Kirsty White, from 150-Mile originally, was also a runner-up.
That was in the Ladies Barrel Racing.
White, who competed in last year’s Canadian Finals, earned more than 16-hundred 41 dollars.
