Small Fire In Business Parking Lot In The South Cariboo Being Investigated

100 Mile House RCMP is continuing their investigation into a small fire that was set in the parking lot of a business on the 4000 block of Easzee Drive.

Sargeant Brian Lamb said the incident occurred at approximately 10:30 Sunday night.

“Police attended and spoke with a witness who had observed the fire approximately six feet away from the building and put it out,” Lamb said, “Police have viewed surveillance video where a female is observed setting papers on fire and then running from the scene towards Highway 97.”

The female is described as 30 to 40 years old with a thin build, shoulder length black hair, wearing black pants, black jacket, black leather boots, and wearing a fedora.
