Will the weather this Easter long weekend be egg-cellent?
We asked an expert, Colin Fong, Meteorologist for Environment Canada.
“On Friday it will be sunny and dry in the morning however there is another weather system on the horizon. It will start clouding over in the afternoon with showers late afternoon. Those showers will continue through Friday night and by the time Sunday comes around it will be a mix of sun and cloud with cooler temperatures over the weekend.”
Fong said Friday’s high expected to reach 20 degrees, Saturday 11 degrees, Sunday 8 degrees for Williams Lake and Quesnel, 10 in 100 Mile House which may see a higher chance of showers Saturday and Sunday.
“Easter Monday will be a mix of sun and cloud and the high will be a cool 11 degrees. So while we don’t have any hot, sunny days on tap for the long weekend at least there should be some opportunities to get outside and enjoy some Easter events that may be planned even though it will slightly cooler than normal.”
