UPDATE: BC Wildfire says the fire is out.

A small fire started last night [April 3], north of Alexandria.
BC Wildfire Services reports the fire was just over one hectare in size, east of Highway 97 along Windt Creek.
Wildfire Services says the fire was started by “human causes” but is now “under control” as of 8:30 a.m. this morning [Friday].
There are currently suppression actions in place to monitor the fire to make sure no residual sparks remain to reignite.
