Special Olympic Quesnel athletes take part in first floorball competition

Special Olympics athletes from Quesnel travelled to Kelowna to take part in the City’s first floorball competition.

Floorball was just recently introduced to the athletes, so this season has been spent learning the rules and how to play.

The sport is a form of floor hockey played on a gym floor with specialized light-weight sticks and a ball.

Teams from Kelowna, Quesnel and Prince George took part in round robin play.
