Even after running into penalty trouble last night the 100 Mile House Wranglers skated away with a 6-1 decision over the Chase Heat.
The team made 7 trips to the sin bin much to the dismay of Coach and GM Dale Hladun who talks about how his penalty killers were perfect on the night.
“Chase’s power play is among the best in the league and should be respected. I do think we are one team that can play their power play and the boys play aggressively. They get in shooting lanes and I’ll tell you what sometimes your best penalty killer is your goalie and Zane certainly was.”
The Wranglers and the Heat will be back at it again tonight at 7 at the South Cariboo Recreation Centre.
