Terrace Jumps On Roos Early Taking Game 1 In The CIHL Final Series

The first game in the Central Interior Hockey League final was in Quesnel Saturday night.

Terrace was up 2-0 after the first period and 3-0 after 40 minutes.

The Kangaroos started a comeback in the 3rd period and scored twice but it was not enough as it ended with Terrace winning 3-2.

Game two in the best of three final is in Terrace this coming Saturday and if there’s a third game needed it’ll be Sunday also in Terrace.

Two years ago Quesnel lost the first game of the final in Terrace and then won the next two games on home ice to capture the championship.

The Kangaroos that year would go on to win the Coy Cup for the 12th time.
