Wanted Saskatchewan Man Arrested By 100 Mile House RCMP

100 Mile House RCMP arrested a man with several outstanding warrants from out of province.

On Wednesday February 12th Sargeant Brian Lamb said police received a report of a camper on an unmaintained road near Netherlands Road.

Lamb said when they arrived police located a man who provided a name believed to be fake.

Police were able to confirm the male’s identity which showed he had several outstanding warrants for violent offences from Saskatchewan with a radius which included BC,” Lamb said, “The male was arrested and transported to cells. He was subsequently remanded into custody and returned to Saskatchewan.”

Lamb said local charges which include obstruction and utter a forged document are pending.
