Quesnel’s Atom Select hockey team won the Cariboo league playoffs inĀ 100 Mile House over the weekend.
They defeated the host team two straight in the semi-final before doing the same to Williams Lake in the final.
Quesnel won the first game 10-6 over the Lake City.
Carter Hesselgrave had 7 goals to pace the offence.
He also scored the winner in overtime in a 3-2 win in the deciding game.
Hesselgrave’s linemates Jake Phillips-Watts and Matthew Farmer also filled the scoresheet.
At the other end of the ice, goaltender Ryder Jensen was a standout along with defencemanĀ Justin Pugh.
Quesnel’s final tournament of the year will be inĀ Osoyoos the weekend of March 10th.
