Semi Truck Cab Fire Extinguished By Mcleese Lake Volunteer Fire Department

Highway 97 North of Mcleese Lake was closed for awhile last night (Monday).

RCMP Corporal Madonna Saunderson said it was reported at 8:36 pm that a semi truck’s cab had caught fire.

Upon Police arrival, Saunderson said the Mcleese Lake Volunteer fire department had it extinguished.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the blaze does not appear suspicious.

“There were no other vehicles involved, nor had a collision taken place,” Saunderson said.
