Cariboo-Chilcotin School District 27 Board of Education is looking to fill a trustee vacancy.
This position will allow the successful candidate in the upcoming Board of Education Trustee By-Election in Early March to represent Electoral Area 4 CRD Area F which are the communities east of Williams Lake including Horsefly and Likely.
An information session about being a School Board Trustee will be held tomorrow (January 15) from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Board Office on North Second Avenue in Williams Lake.
A person is qualified to be nominated, elected, and to hold office as a School Trustee if:
They are a Canadian citizen.
18 years of age or older on general voting day, March 8, 2025,
and a resident of British Columbia for at least 6 months immediately before the day nomination papers are filed.
