Williams Lake Frescho Food Drive Well On It’s Way To Reaching It’s Goal

With just a week to go the Owner-Operator of Frescho in Williams Lake is extremely happy with how well their food drive for the Salvation Army Food Bank is going.

Evan Haubrick said over this past weekend they were doing a Corporate Match where their parent company Empire would match whatever was donated at the checkout.

Haubrick said that went really well as the store raised over $1900 between monetary donations and the food bags that were donated and gave this update on how the food drive is going to this point.

“Since December second we have raised $6640 and we’re looking forward to beating the target that we set for ourselves which is $7500 and we’re well on our way.”

Haubrick said we have a great community here in Williams Lake, people are always looking to help those who are less fortunate especially at this time of year and great to see the engagement.

“If you would like to donate we accepted cash donations at the till and we do have some food bank bags with some non-perishable food items that they need most that are ready to go that the Salvation Army comes and picks up to stock up their pantry for this Christmas Season.”

Williams Lake Frescho will be accepting donations right up until Christmas Eve Day.
