An update into the investigation of a school bus crash that happened back on June 21st 2024 in the South Cariboo will be given later this morning.
BC Highway Patrol will be releasing that information on the incident that hurt more than 30 people and led to the death of a pedestrian.
It happened near La La Hache when a school bus travelling South on Highway 97 went down a 50-foot embankment near Butler Road resulting in several injuries.
Soon after that, a 67-year-old pedestrian from the Cariboo was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.
