100 Mile House RCMP continue to investigate the recovery of stolen items in the South Cariboo.
On Saturday November 16, Police received a report of a theft in progress from a property on Forest Ridge Road.
Sargeant Brian Lamb said a vehicle believed to be a two-toned older model Ford F150 was on a property where a lone male was observed taking building materials.
“Police attended the area and located the truck which sped away on Horse Lake Road.” Lamb said, “The vehicle was later located at a residence on the 5900 block of Horse Lake Road.”
Lamb said building materials believed taken were found in the back of the truck which was seized and impounded.
Subsequent investigation led to the recovery of a 2018 dump trailer on the same property which Police said had been taken from Forest Ridge Road on November second.
