The Williams Lake Community Forest 2024 Grant Applications are now open for all.
Every year the Williams Lake Community Forest (WLCF) gives these grants out community clubs and organizations to fund projects and areas of the forest to improve, upgrade, enrich, and protect.
Grant applicants must be living and/or working in the local areas of the City of Williams Lake and the Cariboo Regional Districts of D, E, and F.
Some projects that Williams Lakers will know of such as the Hydrology Trail across the Esler Sports Complex, and the Storywalks that are rotated through the summers are products of the community grants.
Projects for the grants could be anything ranging from trail building, environmental education, equipment or upgrades that support outlying communities and rural fire departments, and 4-H Clubs. The projects must be done for the same regional districts.
The Grants are open to any Community Clubsm, Parent Advisory Councils, educators, the Fire Department, and volunteer groups. Any organization that is not affiliated with The City.
