Interior Health is advising residents of changes to the 100 Mile District General Hospital’s emergency department hours tonight (September 25th).
They said the closure is due to limited physician availability.
Emergency department services will be unavailable from 7:00 tonight, and will reopen at 8:00 tomorrow (September 26th) morning.
Patients can access care at Williams Lake’s Cariboo Memorial Hospital or Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
Interior Health said anyone needing life-threatening emergency care should always call 9-1-1 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.
