Three organizations in the Cariboo will benefit from an annual fundraiser being held today (September 17) in Williams Lake, Quesnel and 100 Mile House.
All day during Fuel Good Day ten cents from every litre of fuel purchased at Four Rivers Co-op gas bar in those communities will be donated to:
Special Olympics BC Quesnel. Through a variety of sports, athletes have the opportunity to train and compete, building confidence and fostering friendships.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake. Dedicated to fostering the potential of local youth through mentorship programs. By pairing children with caring adult mentors, they create meaningful, supportive relationships that inspire growth and confidence.
And 100 Mile House and District Minor Hockey Association offering programs for various age groups and skill levels with the focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. They also organize events and activities that bring families and residents together in support of local youth hockey.
