A 34-year old man who assaulted two people at the 100 Mile House Women’s Centre has avoided jail time.
Leslie Silveira received a conditional sentence and 18 months probation after pleading guilty to charges of Assault and Resisting Arrest.
Several other charges were stayed.
Silveira was charged following an incident back in August of 2015.
RCMP say they were told that a man assaulted a staff member and a client at the centre.
Both suffered minor injuries.
