Temperatures in the Cariboo region will start to drop a few degrees, and could bring some precipitation.
The region is forecast to see some rain along with a slight chance of thunderstorms for today, and Sunday could see organized showers in the evening.
Meteorologist Nan Lu says early next week is when the weather will differ from weeks prior.
“The early part of next week during Tuesday to Wednesday, we do have an upper low pressure system moving across BC which will bring widespread organized showers over the province.” says Lu.
“With the showers, temperatures will drop by a few degrees, looking like it will be in the 17 to 20 degree range.”
Lu says the temperatures will be below seasonal, which is 24 degrees for this time of year.
At this point, the system bringing in the rain isn’t expected to stay past Wednesday, but the region could see periods of light showers for Thursday and Friday.
