The Courtyard by Marriott Prince George has donated around $120,000 since opening its doors in the summer of 2018, approximately $24,000 per year over the past five years.

Courtyard Prince George positively impacted the City, making travellers feel at home while away. The hotel generates new wealth for the community, and more than 70 staff as guests enjoy our City. The majority of this wealth stays in Prince George, where the Courtyard Prince George’s associates live and play.

Since its inception in 2018, Courtyard Prince George has been committed to fostering positive change and making a meaningful impact within the community. Below is a comprehensive overview of the social support initiatives we’ve undertaken:

1. Local Charity Partnerships: We’ve established solid partnerships with local charities and non-profit organizations, providing financial support and volunteer resources. We are proud to have a partnership with the Junior Hockey Team, the Spruce Kings. When hockey fans refer to success stories in Prince George, Spruce Kings often appear on the same page. The Spruce Kings have been a flagship franchise in every league the club has played. The Spruce Kings have been an integral part of the community and have a winning tradition since 1972, appearing in the Mowat Cup Provincial Championship nine times.
