The Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department will be helping out their neighbours in the South Cariboo.
Fire Chief Sylvain Gauthier…
“Once I got authorization from City Manager Quesnel Fire Department dispatched one fire engine, one water tender and five personnel to 100 Mile House for the forest fire issues.”
Gauthier says this is common for Fire Departments to do when structures are being threatened.
He says the members left at 9 o’clock this morning.
