The Williams Lake Garden Club is hoping the weather won’t dampen their 4th Annual Gardens and Arts Tour.
Eight unique gardens in the lake city have been chosen this year to be on display tomorrow when the event takes place from ten til four.
Gerry Gebert, a member of the Williams Lake Garden Club, describes how the garden were picked this year.
“It’s quite difficult to find gardens. people are a little bit hesitant to open their gardens, and people also think their gardens aren’t good enough. So it’s by word of mouth that I hear about gardens and then I try to have a look at them in season. And most gardens have something unique in them to share with other people”.
Gerbet says all of the gardens that are big enough will include the works of local quilters, weavers and spinners while some will also have local musicians to entertain visitors.
Tickets for the Gardens and Arts Tour are ten dollars each and available at Blocks R Us, Beaver Valley Feeds and the Open Book in Williams Lake.
