Provincial election campaign officially begins as writs have been issued

The provincial election has officially been called.

Advanced voting is scheduled for October 10th to 13, 15th and 16th, with election day on October 19th.

The Cariboo region will have two ridings, with familiar candidates running for MLA.

Cariboo-Chilcotin candidates:

• Lorne Doerkson, BC Conservatives
• Michael Moses, BC NDP
• John Kidder, BC Greens

Prince George-North Cariboo candidates:

• Sheldon Clare, BC Conservatives
• Coralee Oakes, Independent (Incumbent, formerly BC United/Liberals)
• Randy Thompson, BC Greens
